FAIRPORT POP WARNER CODE OF CONDUCT
Parents, family members, players, and
cheerleaders hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and
encouragement to participants in Western New York Pop Warner and to conduct
themselves in a manner, which reflects positively on the organization and
demonstrates good character by adhering to the Code of Conduct to follows:

Encourage good sportsmanship by
demonstrating positive support for all players, cheerleaders. Coaches, and
officials at every game, practice of the Pop Warner event.
·
Place the emotional and
physical well being of all persons above any personal desire to win.
·
Demand a drug, alcohol and
tobacco free sports environment, refrain from the use of alcohol, tobacco
and performance enchanting substances at all Pop Warner events, and agree to
follow the Fairport Central School Athletic Training Rules that provide for
disciplinary procedures and actions for any student-athlete found in
possession of or using such substances.

Remember that the game is for
children and not for adults.
·
Treat other players,
cheerleader, coaches, fans, referees, and Pop Warner officials with respect
regardless of race, sex, creed, or ability
·
Help all children enjoy the Pop
Warner football and cheerleading sports experience by assisting with field
operations, helping with administrative matter, being a respectful fan,
providing transportation, or volunteering in any capacity that I am capable
of doing
·
Participate in the main
fundraiser
·
Not participate in any school
sport of the same type
·
Be actively involved in at
least 20 hours of practice immediately prior to participation or tournament
·
Supply the head coach with a
Fairport Pop Warner Medical Form upon returning from any injury of illness
involved a physician’s care
·
Refrain from selling,
displaying, or presenting in any manner merchandise, literature or other
items without prior written authorization of the Board of Directors
·
Submit accurate and truthful
documentation
·
Follow the procedure for
parental concerns: The parent will contact their tem Head Coach for
assistance. The Head Coach may involve the Cheerleading Director, the
Athletic Director, or other appropriate Director. The respective Director
may present the matter to the Board of Directors for ultimate disposition.
A violation of the Code
of Conduct may result in a warning, probation, suspension, or expulsion from
Fairport Pop Warner.
The Board of Directors
reserves the right to make changes to any rule, regulation, or code it deems
necessary for the safe and proper operation of the organization
